Mrs. Carolyn Lanthrip, age 84, passed away on Sunday March 18, 2018 at the Bedford Care Center in Newton, MS. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 20, 2018 from 2:00PM until 2:50PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 20, 2018 at 3:00PM in the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel with Rebecca Dean and Mary Hardy officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastern Cemetery; there will be no graveside services.
Mrs. Lanthrip was a lifelong resident of Forest, MS. She loved to visit and shop at flea markets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lanthrip in 1994; her daughter, Patricia Huhn in 2005; and her granddaughter, Tamis Stewart in 1991. She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Dean of Poplarville, MS and Mary Hardy of Forest, MS; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
